Shape:

[shape.jpg]
The picture here has to do with shape because they are square water melons and are very uncommon. If you look at this you should think about how unique they are to ordinary water melons. The water melons are basically showing a new shape to the regular rounded water melon. The person viewing this should also be think about how they would taste.  Shape is used to make the water melons look cool and appealing. It creates rounded corners to these water melons.

texture:

[broken-glass.jpg]
This is a picture of a circle type shape made of cracked glass.  The middle of this picture is completely shattered glass while the out side edges are just crack lines going out. The texture you can feel in this picture is roughness of the cracked area, smoothness of the class that is not cracked, and the jaggedness of the lines.  The person who created this could of just used shatter prof  or bullet proof glass and threw stuff at it, throw it to create cracks.  Texture enhances this picture by giving it different areas with different feelings of texture and also smoothness in some areas. Texture is used here to give us feeling of smoothness and roughness.

Space:

[space3.jpg]
This picture shows a lot of space by showing the distance of the mountains in the back round and also by showing how close the table is to us. The mountains at the back are very spread apart and the fog in the back shows how far some of the mountains are. The ocean water also shows space because the lighter area of water is more shallow than the darker area of water. The clouds at the back also show a lot of space. Space is used in this picture to show so far things are and to show how close they are.

Line:

[line.jpg]
Line in this piece of art has made it different from a regular self portrait because it uses different types of line and sizes.  You can see the curved, color, and different sizes of the line that make his face up.  A normal picture would mostly use simple strait lines and curves  of the same size.  Every party of this picture is made of lines even his eye brows and eyes. Line enhances this piece of art because you do not always see self portraits like this with all the different types of line, and the line in this portrait is used to create his facial features and the background is also made of line.
